LAHC describes its Review as a voluntary, peer-led evaluation designed to act as a critical friend for schools pursuing improvement. It begins with school self-assessment and provides professional external challenge without replacing formal accreditation, authorization or regulatory inspection.
Understanding LAHC
Sharing expertise for school improvement across Latin America
LAHC began as an association of school heads and developed into an association of schools represented by their heads.
Its mission emphasises educational excellence, British and international educational practice, professional learning and reciprocal sharing of expertise across the region.
The association also places importance on bilingual and bicultural education and on maintaining dialogue with international educational organisations.

A peer-led critical-friend model for school improvement
The LAHC Review provides member schools with structured external professional feedback while keeping the school's own improvement needs at the centre of the process.
Voluntary
Schools choose whether to participate in the LAHC Review and can adapt the process to their improvement needs.
Peer-Led
Review teams are formed from trained teachers and leaders from other LAHC member schools.
Self-Evaluation First
